Dual Certificate IV TESOL + English for Teaching Younger Learners ETYL/TECSOL

This course is a highly practical course that introduces you to current teaching methods, practical teaching ideas and a range of TESOL resources. A major component of the course is your teaching practicum. Our training methodology is communicative. In practical terms, this means that trainees are engaged with each other in collaborative tasks. 

Entry Criteria:

  • Must be at least 18 years of age on entry to the course

Minimum English language and literacy levels; prospective students must evidence one of the following:

  • English level test score of General IELTS 5.5; 
  • Academic IELTS 5.5 in all skills; 
  • TOEFL PBT 550, TOEFL CBT 213, TOEFL 79;
  • Cambridge FCE;
  • TOEIC 650 + Section B of application forms.

Students with official English level test scores may also have to complete a short telephone or in-school speaking test.
