With this engineering/arts double degree you will have a portfolio uniquely tailored to meet your interests and aspirations, while providing complementary skills in technology and communications. The common first year in engineering provides scientific and design foundations. It focuses on real life problems to illustrate the interaction between engineering and society, and introduces the range of engineering disciplines available. You then pursue your specialist engineering discipline from year two. At the same time, the arts course provides your comprehensive gateway to approximately forty areas of study across the arts, humanities and social sciences.
