Diploma of Leadership and Management

The Diploma of Leadership and Management will assist you to apply knowledge, practical skills and experience in leadership and management across a range of enterprise and industry contexts. You will display initiative and judgement in planning, organising, implementing and monitoring your own workload and the workload of others. You will lead and manage using communication skills to support individuals and teams to meet organisational or enterprise requirements. This course highlights the need to develop sound communication skills with both business contacts and work colleagues, assessing information for accuracy and relevance. Obtaining feedback and translating that across the workplace with a need to instigate new or different work practices to further improve efficiencies or service delivery. The course will assist you with the skills required for a leadership and/or managerial position. Depending on your prior work experience you would expect to find employment as an assistant manager, or in a variety of management roles at different levels, or you may wish to further your training by studying the Advanced Diploma of Leadership and Management. ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS: Completion of a Certificate IV business qualification or equivalent, or relevant work experience
