This course will provide you with the creative, practical and technical skills needed for a career in the fashion industry. It will allow you to become "hands on" in all aspects of fashion designing, developing your skills in the development of fashion concepts from research through to patternmaking, figure and size analysis, fitting garment cutting and block construction, garment realisation and merchandising.

To successfully complete this course, you will be required to undertake a compulsory work placement which the college will arrange for you. Detailed information about work placement will be provided at orientation.

Students can also apply for a TAFE/ University package which allows for the combining of a Diploma/ Advanced Diploma and a Bachelors Degree from Curtin University, Edith Cowan University and Murdoch University. Graduates will then receive a double qualification – a Diploma/ or Advanced Diploma, and a Bachelor’s Degree.
