Industry connections and resources

Melbourne Polytechnic teachers have specialised skills in the field of make-up and are closely linked to the related industry.

A purpose-built classroom with individual student workstations allows you to experience excellent related industry practices. There is also a prosthetics lab where students work together to create detailed special effects as seen on film, television and the stage.

During the course you will be given the opportunity to work on industry-related events. These could be local council projects or even at the Australian Centre for the Moving Image (ACMI).
