Cambridge Test Preparation PET (B1)

The Cambridge exams are essential in many countries and SELC’s Cambridge Test Preparation course, taught by highly experienced teachers, helps students achieve the best results. Studying for the Cambridge exams is both intensive and challenging and can help students gain employment and lay the foundation for their future success in business.

 

The examination consists of five papers: Reading, Writing, Use of English, Listening and Speaking.

 

B1 Preliminary (PET) qualification for intermediate level candidates which shows that students have mastered the basics of English and now have practical language skills for everyday use.

 

SELC offers this program as a first step in your language learning journey towards B2 First (FCE) and the higher Cambridge qualifications.

SELC Australia offers a wide range of courses, from English to Vocational programs and has maintained its reputation as a leading brand in international colleges since 1985. SELC is located in Bondi Junction (20 min away from famous Bondi Beach) and in Sydney’s CBD.

 

SELC offers courses to suit all students’ needs and levels, from beginners who wish to study General English to higher level students wishing to prepare for exams such as Cambridge and IELTS. SELC  Bondi is now providing not only traditional 12-week Cambridge courses (B2, C1, C2), but also flexible B1 and B2 starting every Monday.

 

In 2019 we have introduced a new programme for Upper-Intermediate to Advanced levels. “Beyond English” focuses on real-world projects such as holding meetings, creating blogs, delivering presentations, promoting a product, solving briefs and other activities which can prepare them for use of their language skills beyond the classroom.

 

SELC Bondi also offers a 4-week course that prepares you to work in a café and improves your communication skills. Students of English for Customer Communication Course prepare and serve coffee to other students every morning at our Bondi Campus.

 

For those students wishing to extend their study in Australia and are considering career development SELC offers vocational courses in Sport and Fitness, Early Childhood Education and Care and a range of Business Courses (Project and Program Management, Leadership and Management, Business and Administration) across both campuses.

 

This June we will introduce Business Foundation English course for intermediate and higher-level students, who wish to extend and develop their English language skills for professional or career purposes or join our Vocational Business Courses).
