IELTS Preparation Evening

This is an examination preparation course which prepares students for the internationally recognised International English Language Testing System (IELTS) examination. The course includes authentic IELTS-style examinations which students take every 3 weeks of the course. Successful results in the IELTS examination can lead to entry to Vocational or to University courses, as well as certain classes of Australian immigration visas. The IELTS examination tests students in four skills: Listening, Speaking, Reading and Writing. Results are given for each skill on a scale from 0 to 9 at steps of half a band, with 9 being the highest level, together with a similarly scaled overall score averaged from the four skills. Entry requirements: Pre-entrance test or Intermediate level at ELSIS.
