In 4Life’s Diploma of Counselling, you will develop skills to become a client-centred and ethical counsellor who is ready to step into the world of working with courageous clients in a community services setting. You will learn evidence-based counselling models, strategies such as mindfulness and techniques from strengths-based therapy, neuropsychology, spirituality and positive psychology. With a focus on practical activities like role plays and simulations, this course will provide you with firm foundation skills in counselling and prepare you to work in the community services sector or engage in further study.
